Bogotá, Colombia, 30 August 2012

Empresa de Energía de Bogotá re-establishes the electricity transportation services through its transmission line Tunal – Circo, Tunal –San Mateo. EEB put in place all the required human and technical resources, more than 25 individuals who during 112 hours of work were able to rebuild the tower of the  Tunal – Circo, Tunal – San Mateo transmission line, before the expected time.

EEB's great response capability, the support received from Instelec S.A, EEB contracting company that provides maintenance to the transmission lines, and the Police, allowed for the recovery of the affected infrastructure before the expected time and without affecting the power service in the city of Bogota.

Lastly, we would like to express that the authorities are currently investigating the event, and they are conducting the investigation upon request made by EEB, who made a formal complaint as soon as it occurred.
