The company was awarded in 2002 the concession to construct and operate high voltage electrical energy transmission lines in 21 regions of Peru. After the Company´s establishment, EEB acquired 40% of the shares on July 31, 2002.
The company currently operates 49 substations and acts as a management center for Consorcio Transmantaro S.A. and ISA Perú S.A., carrying out the technical and administrative management of both companies.
