EEB receives ir award for best practices on Investor Relations.

  • This award, granted by the Colombia Securities Exchange, highlights the continuing effort of EEB to disclose timely, clear and easily accessible to investors, among other good information practices information.

Bogotá D.C., 2 September 2014.

On Tuesday, EEB, Head Company of Grupo Energía de Bogotá, received IR AWARD granted by the Colombia Securities Exchange to publicly traded companies on the local stock market maintaining high standards of disclosure to investors, among other practices.

The distinction highlights best practices in delivering financial and otherwise, routinely disclosed by the Company through various channels information in a clear, timely and easily accessible way in both English and Spanish. This practice allows better positioning and relationship with stakeholders who are crucial to the growth and consolidation of the Company.

Therefore, EEB enters COLIR, a stock index recently developed by the Colombia Securities Exchange, which measures the performance of companies with similar practices of disclosure and investor relations. This fact complements EEB’s participation in other local traded indexes as COLCAP and COLEQTY.

In this regard, EEB’s CEO, Sandra Stella Arenas Fonseca, highlighted the progress that the Company has taken in its relations with investors and its active presence in the capital markets whether local, regional or international."We are very proud of having achieved this prestigious recognition and thank the Colombia Securities Exchange for their continued support in this process, as well as our investors for their confidence in the company",noted Fonseca.
