Grupo Energía de Bogotá handed over playgrounds in rural districts of Huila
05 December 2016
Bogotá, December 5, 2016. Grupo Energía de Bogotá (GEB), as a part of its commitment to the well being and an improved quality of life for the inhabitants of the communities where the Group is present in Huila, erected two playgrounds in the rural areas of the department, with the aim of creating different entertainment alternatives for children.
The playgrounds were built in the rural districts of Pajijí and La Yaguilga, in the municipalities of Altamira and El Agrado, respectively.
For GEB, supporting these initiatives is fundamental as they have a direct impact on the life of adults and children living in rural districts, who may now enjoy access to a recreational space for leisure, entertainment and sharing with their families.
GEB is present in Huila through two operating structures, the first one is known as "South West Corridor", which connects the Betania Substation with the south of the country and goes across the departments of Cauca, Putumayo and Nariño, and the second is the "Tesalia - Altamira" Corridor, which encompasses two substations under the same name.
