TGI and Cálidda, group companies from Grupo de Energía de Bogotá, submitted their Q3-2016 income statements

- TGI showed a 3.5% increase in operating income as compared to the same period of the previous year.
- Cálidda’s client portfolio reaches 31%, while its sales grew by 5% as compared to 2015.
Bogota, November 10, 2016.The companies of Grupo Energía de Bogotá, TGI, International Gas Carrier, and Cálidda, provided their investors with their Q3-2016 income statements.
TGI highlighted an increase in its operating income of 1.6% as compared to the same period of last year. Such increase is mainly connected with higher sales upon the use of other operational services. It also had a 3.5% increase in its operating profits, while its net profits increased by USD 50.9 million as compared to Q3-2015.
On the other hand, Cálidda –the Peruvian company holding design, construction and operation concession of the natural gas distribution system in the Department of Lima and the Constitutional Province of Callao in Peru– experienced a 6% rise in total adjusted income, as compared to the same quarter of the previous year, due to an increase in the distribution service resulting from the increase in the number final agreements and from an increase in income derived from the internal connection financing business.
Cálidda’s business management resulted in a 31% rise in the company’s client portfolio, as well as a 5% increase in sales as compared to Q3-2015. During this quarter, Cálidda got 70,857 customers connected in the residential segment, and it has operations in 20 of the 49 districts of Lima and Callao. Likewise, in the industrial commercial and NGV service station segment, Cálidda is present in 37 districts.
