Empresa de Energía de Bogotá is awarded the Andesco award on corporate social responsibilty in household utility services.

Within the Andesco Congress of Public Services and IT and Communications, in its 14th version, held on June 27, 28 and 29 in Cartagena, Empresa de Energía de Bogotá was awarded the Corporate Social Responsibility award in the category of Household Public Services.
Similarly, EEB was acknowledged on in 15 years of corporate transformation and contributions to the energy sector in the country, while at the same time it was runner up in the categories of Best Place to Work and Best Enforcement of Corporate Governance.
The distinction was awarded to companies or entities that have more than 300,000 users, and assets exceeding COP 500 billion, and that in their operations they have shown the best distribution in social investment. This last item includes the integration of environmental, social and economic issued, leading the company to achieve significant results.
The acknowledgement granted to EEB ratifies its commitment with the implementation of corporate social responsibility practices, by making this principle a substantial asset in all their activities.

The ANDESCO award is an acknowledgement to Public Services, IT and Communications companies, as well as for mayor's offices and organizations legally established that render household public services, on their efforts in Corporate Social Responsibility, including environmental, social and economic aspects, which are inherent to sustainable development.
