Empresa de Energía de Bogotá among the 2.000 largest corporations in the world, according to Forbes

- EEB ranked as 1.824 within the 2000 largest corporations in the world.
- EEB is the sixth largest company in Colombia.
For the second consecutive year, EEB is among the two thousand largest companies in the world according to Forbes Global 2000, published by ‘Forbes’ magazine, which measures listed companies, which shares are negotiated in their respective stock exchanges. Such classification is based on a combined rating, which, in addition to the capitalization in the stock market, it includes sales or operating income, assets and net profit. Forbes Global 2000 ninth edition includes this year 68 companies from Latin-America, which shows the important of the classification achieved by EEB that has been the result of the effort of the entire group of collaborators and the implementation of the expansion plan with the support of the current Board of Directors. This time, the company was ranked number 1.824.
