Bogota D.C., September 9, 2016 Grupo Energia de Bogota (GEB) has been listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) for the fifth consecutive year, in the emerging markets category, specifically for its activities in the Natural Gas sector.
The Dow Jones Sustainability Index is the most recognized sustainability index on a global scale and it marks a reference point for those investors who integrate sustainability management within their investment portfolios. Additionally, it offers an effective engagement platform for companies that want to adopt the best practices in sustainability.
GEB stood out in areas such as environmental management with 100 points. Likewise, the Company's codes of ethics and conduct achieved 98 units, thanks to upright and responsible processes. The report positions the Group above average for the sector's industries with a general score of 73.
