EEB’s Stock Ex-Dividend Date

Bogotá, June 16th, 2015. At a meeting held on December 23rd 2014, the General Shareholders Assembly of Empresa de Energía de Bogotá E.S.P. S.A. (EEB), approved the distribution of profits for the period January-October 2014, amounting COP 1.1 trillion and declared the highest dividend payment of its entire history, for an amount of COP 119.19 per share. 

According to the Assembly decision, the dividend payments will be made in two installments: the first on June 25, for COP 597,043 million and the second on October 28, 2015, for COP 503,830 million. For minority shareholders, the payment will be made in one single installment on the first date mentioned above.

Therefore, EEB reminds its shareholders that the ex-dividend dates for the stock are the following:

The ex-dividend date is one that refers to the time during which it is understood that a buy/sale of shares does not include the right to receive unpaid dividends. According to the General Regulations of the Colombia Securities Exchange, ex-dividend date covers the four (4) trading days prior to the date of payment of dividends and the date of dividends payment.
